Darren Sawbridge

Operations Director

Bio

Starting out in the Refrigeration Sector in Mid Eighties, moved into the Air conditioning sector in 1990 predominantly in the computer room Industry then opportunities arose to allow working alongside and become involved in the massively changing commercial Air-conditioning Market 1993 joined the Founding Director at BMS and some 30 years later is still determined as ever to keep the
strong reputation going with the help of dedicated colleagues and a massively loyal and committed workforce.


Able to now predominantly Run projects and assist others on their journey through the industry Outside of Work, A spectator of sport now, enjoy supporting and volunteering with local cricket, football
and charity groups , Riding Motorbikes, Playing Golf and walking keep me more than occupied

Dan Cotterell

Pre-Contracts Director

Bio

Daniel started his journey into the Building Services Industry as an apprentice in 1998, initially spending time with the installation and service engineers to broaden his overall knowledge of building services but the long-term objective was always to progress through to a more senior role within the business.


Over the last 26 years he has worked in various roles including CAD Engineer, Design, Estimating, Project Management and finally through to Pre-Contracts Director. This process and experience within each position has now become a benchmark for all new apprentices to give them the broad knowledge and understanding that is required within the Building Services Industry and it is this approach, that we believe, provides our clients with the expertise and support that they require.


Outside of work, apart from supporting his children through various sporting and academic activities he still enjoys spending time cycling and is always keen for a challenge.

Craig Kitson

Contracts Director

Bio

Craig started his career with BMS in 2005 straight from college as initially joining as a CAD engineer.


After a short period as a CAD engineer within BMS, Craig progressed his way to a role within the design and estimating department. After a number of years within the department Craig began contract management alongside his design and estimating duties. In 2019 Craig became our Contracts Director.


Outside of work, Craig is a keen Motorcycle Racer, Football Fan and loves spending time with his family.

Shelley Tempest

Service Director

Bio

Shelley began her journey as a Service Coordinator in 2008 and has since risen to the role of Service Director, specialising in managing commercial properties. With a wealth of experience spanning 20 years, her journey has been defined by a relentless commitment to fostering long-lasting relationships and delivering exceptional service. Outside of work, Shelley enjoys spending time with family, reading and travelling.

Adam Lachowski

Service Co-Ordinator

Bio

Adam has been a part of the BMS team since 2023.

In his earlier years, gained his qualification in mechanical engineering which stemmed from his families’ careers in the field.


Working in the service department, Adam aids in the delivery of high-quality service that BMS provides to its clients.


Outside of work, Adam manages his free time by spending quality time with his family and various creative hobbies.

Jessica Springett

Service Co-Ordinator

Bio

Jessica studied at the University of Northampton and proudly gained her 2:1 degree in 2018.  She started her role at BMS in 2022 as a co-ordinator in our Service department, bringing with her a multitude of transferable skills from her previous role within data management.


Jessica’s main role within the service department consists of co-ordinating our fleet of service engineers, while attending to our comprehensive service client base.


Outside of the office, Jessica enjoys country music and all things crafty.

Lee Pattinson

Senior HVAC Engineer

Bio

Lee started in the Building Service Industry for BMS back in January 2001. He was taken on as a service apprentice but spent the 1st year on the install side and gained an understanding of air conditioning systems. After the 1st year he was back onto service where he gained City & Guilds qualification in Air Conditioning and had continuous training from the service engineers and manufacture courses.


Over the 23 years he has a vast knowledge on service, fault finding, commissioning and set up of equipment ranging from single splits to large VRV systems and controls for various manufacturers. He worked his way up from apprentice to service engineer and now senior engineer. His role is to assist with the running of the service department and training and technical help of the engineers to ensure that all of our engineers are the best that they can be to give our clients the best service experience.


Outside of work he enjoy relaxing and spending time with family and friends.

Jenny Hetherington

Finance Manager

Bio

Jenny is a qualified Chartered Certified Accountant, qualifying in 2006 after passing all her professional exams first time.


She oversees all financial matters from personnel through to the Company accounts.
When not in the office, Jenny loves spending time with her family and friends. She also enjoys reading, paper crafting and travelling.
